What was the stock spark plug for the 150 hp mercury xr-2 black max?

We have a plug in our engine that fowls easily. It is the ngk buz8h I have seen others say it should be the ngk bu8h. So I'm asking if we got the right or wrong plug. Or is something else better ????

I got the s/n (B176785) from your previous post and it comes up as a model:

1150766 MERCURY 1986 150XR2

If you look under FLYWHEEL, STARTER MOTOR AND IGNITION COILS, item 33, it calls for BU8H

Service Manual if you don't have it is: 90-976583
