1974 Mercury 500 (50HP) in need of wire Diagram

Gday guys and thanks for the help,

My name is Bryan and i live in Australia and picked up an australian built 50 HP mercury Outboard on the back of a great little fishing boat. Serial Number is (8023491) This motor has been a fun and a great learning experience and i have just purchased a new internal wire harness for this motor and have instaled it tracing back when i took the old out and it is still wont start. Trouble is it ran before i ripped out old harness i have also replaced the rectifier as i let the smoke out of the box by crossing my terminals over in haste. i can hear the choke solinoid clicking but no start. if i could get a wire diagram for this model to just double check as the original inside was in very very poor shape and was coroded past repair just to double check myself i would be forever greatfull.

Mate its all sorted i had a short at the key just inside my neutral switch but i got it fixed and she fired up second turn
