Mercury 4hp will not pull fuel to spark plug

Rebuilt carb and fuel pump. I have great blue spark on this one cylinder motor.
Gas in bowl and still wont fire off. I pull the plug and spray a little gas in her and
she fires up and runs and pulls the gas from tank. After she shuts off she will not
crank again until i put fuel back in the cylinder. What could be my problem.

Float level set wrong.Needle /seat not releasing.Fuel pump assembled wrong.J
