mercury 85 hp blue band not pumping after new impellar

hello people,

i've got an 1979 85hp merc, i've done alot to this engine, i'e carbs fuel pump etc, i've also changed the impellar, blowen though all pipe work etc, put all back togeather, but i've not got a very good flow of water? using it with muffs, there is only a dribble coming out ot the tell tell and only a spit coming out of the right hole exhaust, could anybody tell me if i'm missing something or done something wrong? anybody know where i can get a pdf manuel?

Did you make sure the pee hose is clean out? You said that ya put the impeller in it, But did ya change the hole houseing for the water pump? Are ya sure that the pipe is in place for the water pump an the rubber hose are in place? Did you make sure the the key for the impeller is in place between the inside of impeller an the shaft??

Most of the water will exit the motor at the gratings above the antiventilation plate. The square holes just below the powerhead are for exhause relief.
