mercury flywheel

my son has a 1979 mercury 200 o/b we need to replace the flywheel but cant find a new one . It has 135 teeth, any help to find one or to have one made would be helpful

You can order the 237-7555A8 kit which gets you a stator,flywheel and starter but its about $700. It will be cheaper to get parts off a later model V-6 as they are plentiful, and can likely get all for around $350. You will need a starter as bendix shaft is different size, flywheel and stator which actually helps you as you are updateding from a 9 amp to a 16 amp.
