The motor started up just fine at the boat ramp, I put it into gear without any issues, and away I go down the lake. I have been cruising for about 10mins when I hear a slight difference in the motor noise, enough to make me think something was not right. All of a sudden, i have zero power and the engine started revving up very high. I immediately turned the engine off. I let it sit for several mins before starting the engine, which started without any issues again. I put the engine in gear and started off and then the engine started revving way up again, so I put it in neutral. The odd part is that I can do trolling speed without a problem and I can go just above trolling speed without a problem, but as soon as I start to go any faster....the revving up starts again and the power is lost. Hopefully, I did not damage the engine by trolling all the way back to the boat ramp....

Thanks for the help!

Spun prop.
There is a bushing and it has come undone.
To re-bushed will cost almost as much as a prop.
Buy a new prop.

Possibly the shear pin, but you checked that.
