I needed to replace the starter on my 1993 135 Mariner. I plugged in the engine serial numbers and got the following starter #50-893893. I found a used one on ebay, bought it, put it in and it seems to work fine. Now here is my problem - the starter I took off the engine was 50-77141. Can someone tell me what the difference is and should I look for another replacement? Engine is now winterized so this will be a spring project. Thanks for your help.
