Year of Yamaha Mariner

Having a bit of a tough time identifying a Yamaha Mariner here. It's a 60 HP 2 cylinder with the numbers on the transom bracket-675 L 32248. Anyone help with a year? Thx.

Maybe the number you are providing is a serial number? I think that in the case of Yamaha engines; year is determined by the MODEL number.

Yamaha built mariners use the serial numbers to determine year. Your number is good.

It was made in japan in 1977. Electric start, long shaft.
