I have a 40 hp Merc 2 cylinder early 80's. A friend of mine gave me a real nice very low hours power head that will fit my motor. Can someone tell me how much work I am looking at to make the switch? My motor is still running well but compression number on on the edge.I think I can take this on with a Factory service manual. Especially since I am not breaking down the power head to rebuild I think at that point I will be working above my experience level. Thanks for your support.
