I was checking the water pump on my 3.3 auxiliary engine because the tell tale was a bit weak . I removed the lower unit and put it into a bucket of water and turned the shaft with a cordless drill when i noticed there is a small hole in the side of the water pump block and water was pumping out of this , i just wondered if this hole is supposed to be open?
