stuck throttle button quicksilver 3000 classic

Dear sirs, I have a 98 nitro 115 tracker fish/ ski with a stuck in throttle button on the quick silver 3000 classic throttle control... boat starts but button will not click out to engage forward or revese... any help would be greatly appreciated.... sweatbacks
