hi i have a very old merc. 2 stroke 7.5 hp and ive already had to take the carberator off and lower the float and change the impellor after changing the impellor and putting the drive shaft back on the moter did not have a nutral it would fully click into reverse and neutal but when u tried to click into forward it wouldnt quite click in and if u started the moter in nutral it would move us forward. so i droppeed the moter again and put it in forward and put the drive shart back on and it now clicks in fully to all gears but still when i try to start it in nutral it feels like it is i forward can anyone help
