Hi guys,

Just a quick question!

Recently had a water pressure meter fitted on my boat to monitor water flow through my outboard.

I had a new impeller and housing fitted about 5 months ago along with new t-stats.

The water pressure readings I am getting are roughly 2-3 psi at idle and between 10-15 psi at WOT.

The tell tale at idol isn't particularly strong, but is a steady stream at 4000 RPM onwards.

Are these the readings I should expect, or should they be higher?

Many thanks! :)

Absolutely, 100%, right on the money, perfect readings. You've got it tee'd into the equalizer tube that goes down to the poppet so you won't even see the drop in pressure when the poppet opens. That's the correct way to set it up.:)
