1979 20hp mercury gear shifter handle.

Looks like the person that had this before lost it and made his own for it, the only problem is it takes to allen screws to hold onto the square shaft to shift, with all the vibration from running the boat motor the handle comes very loose. Does anyone know where to get a replace handle that actually fits over the square shaft or the part number? the serial num for my motor is 5510247

the main mercury dealer is closed til mid Jan, I called another place and they want 30 bucks for it. Does this sound right??? Its a chunk of nylon plastic that I'm sure breaks off easly as why it had a homemade job on it.

if i could get it for 8 bucks then its kinda a no brainer.. but 30 plus.. heck I can make one out of square tubing and some emt.
