i reciently took my two carbs off my outboard for cleaning as 1 of them was flooding after i cleaned out all the dirt i realised that on one of my carbs the wee valve that gets triggered by the float was sticking up and not coming back down without shaking it but very stupidly i left it thinking that the vibrations from the outboard would free it and it wouldnt get stuck and after i fitted everything the carb had stopped flooding but it only idled perfectly once out of about 10 tries although it did this before (but it was flooding ) do i just need too free the valve more and put oil on it?? or is it not idling because of something else. thanks
