1995 225 offshore mercury, idles but will not throttle up, starts missing

Fuel pump replaced,carbs gone through, did away with oil injection. Its getting fuel and fire compression, 100 to 105 on all cylinders motor was wamed up. Noticed plugs on port side are wet not firing the same is this electrical maybe, it idles and starts fine.

Found problem , wiring harness connection for throttle senser taped up and broken. 50 cents worth of elec tape consealed the problem. Like to kick the moron that did that , although the money i spent was well spent i still needed carbs gone through and fuel pump. Ready for sea trials.
