I have a 1978 mariner 80 hp serial # 5002221 and there is no key switch on the boat.

I am looking for a diagram as to what wires go where on the switch.

I have

white
yellow
orange
black
red
gray

and the switch has post's

C
A
M
B
M
S

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks
Jason

Jason, Try these

White is switched +12V from ign switch, powers choke
Yellow is starter solenoid
Grey is choke solenoid
Orange is ign killer, connects to black when ign is off
Red is battery voltage, unfused

I would use a ohmmeter to make sure you understand the ign switch. S is probably starter solenoid, the M terminals are probably for black and orange to kill ign, A is probably for accessory voltag. C is probably push to choke. B is probably battery
