Some time ago I bougth an old Sea Ray Laguna 17 with Mercury 150 Offshore (1996). Package works fine but would like to have owner's/service manual for the engine. Company which sold it to me promised to organize the manual but they now told that can't get it from anywhere because according to them the engine is so special that it is not easy to find manuals for it.
What is so special in this engine? What I have heard this Offshore means extra long shaft but is there some other things which are different then in "normal" 2-stroke engine from year 1996? I don't thing so but if some one knows better please advice. Also, if some one could say which service manual would work with this engine it would be nice, thanks!
