I think I sucked a rock or somthing into the pump. I turned the motor off and tried clearing the debris. I didn't visibly see anything, but here is what my motor is doing: It operates fine a idle and low speeds, but when I throttle up it seems like the impeller is slipping. The rpms go up but the motor will not bite and take off.

I don't know if there is some type of sheer pin on the impeller or what.

I thought I would get some advice before I started ripping things apart...

Any help would be appreciated!!:)

You must have sheared the shear key. page 62 of your owner's manual will show you how to remove the impeller. You will have to order a new key. mrous88@hotmail.com
