Hi everyone,
I just both a new 2008 boat with a 2008 Mercury 250hp Pro XS. They just installed a Hot Foot on it. It didn<t have a hot foot before and have only 98 hrs on the motor. I'[m having problem getting on plane or higher speed/RPM. First time on the water it went 1800rpm at full throttle, I put it back on neutral, tried it again and again..finally when to 5100rpm, stop tried it and again 1800rpm, again...5100rpm. Anyway, could that be that the Hot foot was not properlly set up? Any ideas?
I know it's under warranty, but if this is a simple fix, I rather do it then wait another 3 weeks...
