Anyone Have Any Idea, Why Cowling Says 9.9....vs. 9.8? Based On The Serial Number...i Am Told This Is A 1979 9.8.....? Any Ideas?

I'm just going to confuse things a little more -

It is a 110 (9.8 hp) merc, 1978.

Dunaruna, is right stating number in 79 was 5106550, time to get new glasses I am afraid.
