Manual: Clymer or Seloc?

Hey, all.
So I got a 1979 Mercury Marine 70HP engine with "some issues." Looks like the only issue was a cracked carb vac hose. But, before I hook it up to my boat and do all sorts of wiring fun, I'd like to get a manual for the motor.

I've found two brands so far, Clymer and Seloc. I write manuals, so I'm very aware that some are much better than others. However, I've never even heard of these two companies.

Anybody have any recommendations for either? For a different brand?

Thanks in advance.

What LD said.

Aftermarket manuals cover many models and therefore don't offer great detail on any.

Factory manuals tend to deal with one model, and in detail.

Agree with the above. solec and cylmer are both good for starting a fire on a cold night, and not much else.

IMHO,

Chris.............
