I know this is probably a simple question, but I have to run my crippled boat about 2-3 miles so I can put it on my trailer for engine repair (oil injector issues). Do I connect an external tank of gas/oil mix line at the motor fuel fitting or do I cut the line coming from the internal tank and splice with a piece of copper tubing? The connection at the motor seems large compared to the external line I have. Suggestions? Thank...

You didn't give a engine model but many you can hook right to the fuel pump, but the easiest is to just plug the tank in

Twin 200HP Offshore. When I glanced at the fitting on one of the engines, it appeared to be "hard" fastened to the fuel nozzel on the motor, not a type of easly removal springload connector like on a smaller engine. Maybe I looked wrong.

You will have to either hook to the fuel pump or join the 2 hoses with a coupling of some sort
