2001 125 HP Mercury - Opinions?

I am considering a boat with a 2001 Merc 125 HP with quite low hours. I actually preferred an OMC or Yammy but this Merc Trophy combo is very well priced. Can ya please let me know if there are any issues which have arisen with this motor. I have had quite a few OMC's and a Merc or two and a Yammy 50 HP all of which served me well. Just that this will be my costliest upgrade yet. Your post opinions are appreciated, thank you in advance.

I have a 2004 125 2 stroke 2+2. Bought it last year with a Bayliner 184 fish and ski.

Today I had to remove, repair and reinstall the starter. Easy fix. Overall I like the motor, very efficient on fuel. Good acceleration, fast, I top out at 47 MPH with 3 adults. That is plenty fast.

Trolls very nice. I use only 89 octane and premium mercury oil.
