2002 Mercury 250 HP EFI only runs around 2000 rpm

My engine runs fine for about 30 minutes, and then loses power and only runs at about 2000 rpm.

Mercury replaced the fuel pump, it ran fine for about 40 minutes and now it will not go above 6-8 knots / 2000 rpm.

Frustrating, compression is fine, replaced fuel filters, even checked fuel, all looks OK..

Any suggestions

check spark. You may not be running on all 6 cylinders.
