I received this motor in a box and completely rebuilt it. Been to the dealer 3 times and they have been no help. They checked all externals 3 times and say everything is okay. <br />Compression is 130(all 3), restricter plugs in place,new seals, reeds, gaskets, and fuel pump. Engine seems to run rich, but who can tell with the deflector head 2 stroke. Carbs have new needles and seats, the specified jets, and the correct series numbers. Full fuel bowl pop off test is 15 lbs. Fuel level is below the gasket and at the top of fuel bowl. Oil recovery system, check valve operative. Engine will idle with short reach conventional spark plugs set at .030 gap. Idle orifice in mounting flange(controlled by low speed adjustment needle) seems large for this application. The carb also features an enrichment valve using a rotating brass valve that is slightly worn; clearance .001/.002. Idle adjustment screws are extremely sensitive. What have I missed?
