First - you have to figure out what you've got. The "Hurricane" moniker was only used on the larger 2-cylinder motors (KG4 Rocket Hurricane (7.5hp+), KG7 Super 10 Hurricane (10hp+), and was stamped on the 22 cubic inch 20/22hp blocks as Super-Hurricane. The 5hp model would have been known as the KF5 Super 5 or the Mark 5. Get us a model number and we can go from there.<br /><br />Also, there were two different magneto used on the early Mercs. Bendix Scintilla and Phelon. They used COMPLETELY different components and parts are not interchangeable unless done as a complete system swap, flywheel included.<br /><br />- Scott
