mercury ride guide steering part.

hello, this is what i need to connect my mercury steering cable to the link arm and then to my mercury 1980 40hp motor.<br /><br />it is on a 1960 glasspar citation.<br /><br />does ANYBODY have a clue what this peice is called and where in 'ell i can get one?<br />here is the link to the ebay ad that i found it in, and no , the selle doesnt know what its called and wont sell me just that peice

<br /><br />the second pic is what a NORMAL steering cable looks like at the end where it mneets the motor, notice the small hole in the end so that the link arm can connect to it there. mine, incase you dont know, has no hole, its just round and requires an adaptor, such as te on e in the first pic.<br /><br />my mercury dealer was clueless and had NO CLUE what that was, never heard or seen it before when i showed him my cable....<br /><br />any ideas?

try a teleflex clevis kit,sa27576 or sa27314
