1997 mariner 135 hp

hello- Is it ok to place a battery charger on a battery while the motor leads are attached. Will this burn out any electrical components? Rectifier, stator , trigger switch etc. regards

I'm not sure, but why take the chance? especially if it's not difficult to disconnect the battries prior to charging.
