1980 Mariner 140hp

Are there any exploded views of this motor available. I have a manual, but it's not all that informative. The motor I have is in pieces, result of previous owners son "going to do it up"I've been told that it's all there. <br />TPI

The Mercury/Mariner factory service manual is a reasonably good manual for showing exploded views. I just bought mine a few months ago from the local Mercury dealer. It covers 75 to 150 HP. It was about $75.00, which I thought was high at firt but come to find out is very reasonable when you consider how much the shops charge just to do the little stuff.<br /><br /> Dwain

Thanks Dwain.It does sound dear, especialy in Aus dollars. I agree with your reasoning. It would soon pay for itself. All I need to do is find one.<br />Paul
