Hey, been trying to get the beast running. 94 200 merc. It appears after blowing on the tank vent on the side of the boat it is clogged?. Can I just take the cap off the tank and that would temporarily vent it? I can pump up the primer bulb and the engine will run for about 30 seconds then die unless I pump up the ball. I just rebuilt the carbs to get that out of the way. Also put in a new diaphram in the fuel pump. I hope it got it in there correct. Thanks in advance. standing by drinking a cold one.

If you can pump the bulb to keep it running, them you didnt get the fuel pump back together right.

thanks captain, I did see one of the triangle things a little of kilter and will try again. Can I vent the fuel tank by just taking off the cap? makes sense to me.<br />Ti m
