Hello,

Battery good. 12 volts on meter. All lights work but trim at throttle and trim at motor won't work and motor won't start. Ran perfect the night before. I did wash boat and may have gotten water into ignition. I did read about trying to jump the red wire and red/yellow wire from ignition to see. Other than that, where should I start looking...at the console or at the motor? I'm guessing this is a fuse problem but unsure which one. Thanks.

Had the same issue yesterday on my Yamaha. Looked all over panicked and stressed out. On my Yamaha there are two glass fuses by the starter, one 20 amp and one 30 amp. The 20 amp was blown..changed fuse and all was well. Maybe that's your same problem. Both fuses are in protected rubber covers...hope thst helps.

Gee, what year motor are we discussing? Older models do not have fuses.

Thanks Escambia.....it was the 30 amp blade fuse. Took one out of the spares for truck and started right up.
