I have a 2014 Merc 25hp 4 stroke with Tiller Shifter and Throttle. The shifter and throttle work fine but it is very stiff to operate. It feels like it needs lubrication but I cant seem to find information about doing that. I have tried spraying lubricant in various places but cant find any relief. The throttle/shifter is tricky to operate while docking due to the stiffness.
I am aware of the friction control adjustment on the tiller arm but I have it all the way loose and it is still hard to twist the grip.
Any ideas?
