Do I have to have a repair manual for proper Ohm readings? The Engine is a Belgium assembled Merc 50 HP Serial # 9292590
The original stator part is: 76314A3 and the newer replacement part is: 5454A25
I'm looking to narrow down what I'm supposed to be reading.
As Of right now I'm getting:
62.6 on red to red.
65.5 on blue to blue and
2.1 on yellow to yellow.
Is that good, bad or ugly for this stator???

THANKS in advance!

Glen- since this is a Holiday, most of the pros are stuffing themselves with stuffing. The stock answer for your plight may be the : Google CDI Electronics. You may find your answer there. Happy Thanksgiving, Mike (Mercurylips)

It is a silly reference to "only Mercury spoken here". Our gun club used to refer to us by nicknames connected to the firearms we talked about. IE: Rugerlips etc. Ok enough of that.
