I thought I posted this somewhere but I can't find it. So I finally found a 40 hp 1986 6E9421313 to go with the tiller handle I had on hand. The handle and throttle cables were easy enough to install so next is the wiring for the ignition push button and the kill switch. It has a 7-wire cable that went to the remote so I'm guessing a couple of those wont be used but I may need a simple hand drawing to actually hook em up because I can't figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Black = ground
Red = battery positive
Green = tachometer signal
Blue = choke
White = kill circuit
Pink = warning ground
Brown = power to starter motor relay/solenoid

You will need a neutral safety switch also as that was probably in the control.

I have a 1983 25hp Mariner coupled with remote steering linkage (Jimmy-stick) setup on a 15ft Alumaweld. Would that be helpful in any way for wiring at key ignition, safety and choke? Easy to take pic of it.
