Ok, please don't give me too much flak for this mistake :( I accidentally connected positive lead to negative battery post and when I touched the negative lead to the positive battery post I obviously got a lot of sparks! GRRRR!!! Now no electrical power seems to be going anywhere. Is there a fuse somewhere at the engine or in the ignition/throttle control? Or does anyone have any idea where to look to get power back? Would that have destroyed any ignition/electronic parts? I only touched the negative to positive for a split second so no wiring would have gotten hot enough to burn. 1983 Mercury Mariner Motor ID/Serial# 5222123. Any help is appreciated.
