welcome aboard

carnac says .....need more information

did you rebuild the carbs? is this a new to you motor? is this a new problem?

most rebuild kits have carburetor float measurements. if they dont, the manual does.

it's a new problem, was running fine then would only
start cold turn it off 10 mins later wouldn't start at all
so i decided to give the carbys a clean, being new to outboards i moved the float setting and now i try and
start it and it floods.
got plenty of compression and good spark

your first problem was most likely dirt in the carburetors. then you adjusted the float and now its flooding.

so pull the carbs back off, set the float height correctly. then install and link-n-sync
