Compression issues on merc

As I research more and more I do believe it overheated

If it overheated all cylinder will be scuffed.....post a pic of cylinder.

And overheat and you will have more than one bad cylinder. When you pull it apart if the other 5 aren't scuffed I would look for something else as the problem.
