2007 2 stroke 3 cylinder 50hp mercury losing power

Need help figuring out why my outboard runs good right off the bat while driving full speed and pulling a tube for about a hour, then after you let it set off while swimming for about a half hour it starts fine but won't run past half throttle sometimes surging a little like it's going to take off but never does. Let it set overnight and it runs fine the next morning until you quit driving it and let it set a while off. Then it does the same thing. Could it be the carb flotes? Model # 1050412fd Please help!

Put on a new primer bulb and fuel line on today. New spark plugs. Checked all connections. Seafoam in the fuel. Ran good wide open for about 4 minutes then bogged down all of a sudden and would only go about half throttle. It will surge every so often. Put it in neutral and rev it up a few times and it will run wide open again for a few then bog back down. Kind of like it flooded itself. Any ideas? Thanks

Take a timing light and test spark when it happens as sounds like a CDM module failing....
