Mercury 225 Saltwater series oil ?

Hello all,

I was looking into my friends boat and we would like to change the outboard fluids. Just needed to know exactly what oil needed and how much. Also would like to change out the oil in the lower unit as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated !!

You don't change the oil in a 2 strk motor just keep filling the tank as it gets low. The tank for the motor uses TCW-3 oil. Lower unit fluid is the only one to change and that is a marine rated 80w90 gear lube.
