What model Mariner have i bought? SCAM?

Please help a Norwegian who maybe has been scammed.
I bought a mariner 30 thirty and i was told it was a 2002 modell. The number on the plate on the motor says: 30 ELO 689 L 553158
Have i been fooled?

It does look to be a few years older. 1994.

But it is still a good motor.

Roscoe is correct. According to the Model and Serial numbers you have provided, the motor is a 1994.
