hello. i recently got a boat with a 90hp mariner which was bad and replaced it all ready. i took the mariner apart . and the middle piston skirt was busted off. didnt damage anything else. but all three cylinders has light scoring. would honing and new piston and rings fix this motor. the scoring isnt deep enough to catch a fingernail. what you all think

About $100 per hole, add in all the rings, pistons, bearings, gaskets, seals and other parts and you'll be into it quite a bit of money. Some people like these projects and go that route, I don't anymore, so I sell them for parts, put that money with what the rebuild would cost, and you typically end up being able to buy a much newer motor for the same money.
