About how long and difficult is it to rebuild the carburetors on this motor. Xr4 1990 150 black Max? Just don't want to bite off more than I can chew. And yea, I know if I have to ask, than it's too big. 😁

It's not hard, not much to a carb like those.

What's it doing that makes you feel the carbs need to be worked on?

Sitting up long time, brown gas drained from them. About how long ya think it takes.

The first time it always takes longer from just looking at it to see what needs to be removed next, but it's not hard

How fast can I do it, on a V6 (various brands) 1.5 hours start to finish, that's removing them, checking everything, new gaskets, then back on the motor. But that's after doing it several times on the same motor. The first time it may take you an hour just to get them off, longer if you don't have the manual to know what needs to be removed and in what order. I tend to work slower the first time, then very fast after that.
