9.8 Mercury outboard (110) 1973(?) ser.# 7016319 Info. help

Hello, Looking for parts for my 1973(?) Mercury 9.8 outboard motor 110 , ser. # 7016319 .
the coils on the motor are numbered 336-3955 (I do not know history of motor) are these the correct coils?
What are the spark plug numbers & brand needed? I think I can bring her back!
Can anyone please direct me any and all info you can about my Mercury, part lists, exploded photos/drawings.

This was a tough one to find as your starting serial number of 7016*** doesn't seem to be listed in any of the parts catalogs. The closest one seemed to start with S/N range 9.8 - 7127388 & Up which is equivalent to US S/N 110 - 3795658 THRU 4839253 which both uses parts guide part number 90-67136... But with both the numbers being to high for your model/year, it should not be your correct parts guide.

Knowing your engine is an 1973 and using maxrules.com serial number chart seems to indicate the US equivalent serial number range to Canada's serial number range is 110 - 3263263 THRU 3795657 which uses catalog part number 90-62430 which is also available for parts look up through iboats in the following link, http://www.iboats.com/MERCURY-110-32...iew_id.1702092 < This should be your correct parts catalog.
