when winterizing my outboard i noticed there wasnt much oil in the lower unit. when i refilled the unit oil came out of the water intake. i decided to change the prop shaft and driveshaft seals which i have done. i want to change the shift shaft seal also. the manual says to loosen the white nylon retainer clip and pull the shaft out. i tried that and it wont come out. i put vice grip on the shaft and tapped up on it. didnt come out. am i missing something. how do i change the shift shaft seal thanks for your help
