removing powerhead 25 hp serial no. 6210928

Is it necessary to remove rewind starter/rope and flywheel? Need to replace Co- pilot bushing. my manual says so. Why?

No you do not need to pull the recoil or the flywheel off to pull the powerhead. I will pull the recoil because it does get in the way but up to you.
