Hi! I have a 75hp mercury that sat for several years. The first time out it left us stranded. What has been done so far:
Replaced carbs and had them synched by the shop.
New gas lines & priming bulb
Most all lines in the motor itself
Enricher valve as of today
Battery
The motor was cranking and running great (better than ever) but, wouldn't idle, would die and have to sit hours before it would start. After changing the enricher valve its hard to start...period. The shop said it was running fine and only found the carbs needed to be synched so I'm stumped. Nee to working on boats so I would appreciate any thoughts.
