I know this is a widely talked about problem.. While my boat is running, the low oil and or overheating alarm constantly starts beeping. I've taken apart the float on the cap of the oil reserve. The magnet was no longer attached to the float, glued that back together, and now when the float is in the up position it starts to automatically pump even though there's plenty of oil, but when the pump should call because the float is down, it does not pump, it's almost as if the float is wired backwards.. Any ideas? This problem has been driving me nuts for month, it started randomly. Thank you
