Motor ran great yesterday but not today. Idled fine started easily until this morning. I noticed that when the fuel primer button is pushed a spit of fuel shoots out the little hole on the side. Motor will not run unless in the choke position. Push in the choke and she dies. Any ideas. I ran a bunch of seafoam through it last time it ran well.

2 most likely causes:
chunk of dirt clogging the carb.
or you lost spark on one cylinder.

OK Thank you..I have spark in the top cylinder but it is wet and not firing. It is only running on the bottom cylinder. The hole on the side of the primer shooting out gas when released is making me thing bad diaphram to much gas. Does that sound right.

I have had a similiar problem on OMC 9.9's when the fuel pump is bad pumping to much fuel straight to the crank case .
