Hi all. I had spark before the carb rebuild but now have none. I do remember it clicking (arc sound) as I cranked sometimes. I did the switch box test (jump wires and ground to see coil spark) and I do get spark every ground. How can I test the trigger? Can I find a replacement trigger and is it a difficult task? What other components can I check to rule out the trigger?

Thanks
Clint

Took the distributor off to see if there is a part number on trigger...is the house part of it ? Can the electronics be removed or do I need a whole unit?

A bad rectifier will not cause a no spark condition on your battery-powered CDI ignition unit. If she sparks with the switchbox test, it is likely a bad trigger. CDI Electronics used to make a replacement. They might still.
